Slow Cooker Taco Chicken

 

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Grease slow cooker; add the first five ingredients in order listed. Let it cook all day. Shred the chicken. Great for chicken tacos! 
!

TIPS & HINTS

• This is incredibly easy to throw into the slow cooker before work!

• My husband shredded the chicken when he got home and kept it in the slow cooker until dinner, allowing it to soak up the delicious broth … yum.”

 

• We served the chicken in whole wheat tortillas with cheese and Corn, Black Bean Salsa, garnishing with shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes and black olives.

• The chicken would be wonderful in your favorite taco recipe or in enchiladas.

• This could easily be converted to a freezer meal, or make extra and freeze the cooked chicken for later use.
